Alberto Aguilar, the first Chicago Humanities Artist-in-Residence talks about his art-making process and previews Chicago Humanities’ upcoming free day of art events in Pilsen.

Chicago Humanities Tapes podcast host Alisa Rosenthal sat down with Chicagobased artist and educator Alberto Aguilar for an exclusive interview at his home studio. They chatted about his art-making process and previewed Chicago Humanities’ free day of events, Pilsen Day Art & Experiences. In his role as the first Chicago Humanities Artist-in-Residence, Aguilar has curated a schedule of programs that will give audiences a chance to encounter art in new and exciting ways and inspire viewers to make their own active connections.
