Jesse Rosenbluth
Presented as part of Red Line Services’ Designing Belonging series, this program features a talk by Jesse Rosenbluth who explores ways to democratize access to nature by integrating science and design into working landscapes in the built environment. Design excellence and the science of maximizing environmental performance can together create landscapes that are resilient, but also impact the well-being of people in dense, urban areas.
As President of Omni Rewild™, Jesse supports design and trade professionals as they design and construct green infrastructure across the country. He has spent over a decade in the field of applied ecology. His career includes work categorizing and assessing wetlands in Ohio utilizing the Ohio Rapid Assessment Method for Wetlands; leading riparian restoration and watershed education in Oregon with the Columbia Slough Watershed Council; the establishment and management of vegetable and flower farms in Michigan and Illinois, where he achieved USDA Organic Certification via OEFFA, environmental verification through The Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program, and participated in multiple natural resources conservation programs to reduce soil erosion, improve water quality, and increase wildlife habitat; and working at Omni Ecosystems installing green infrastructure throughout the U.S.
A meal is shared after the program.
