In conjunction with its digital exhibition, A Snapshot of Chicago’s Art Fairs: 1948-2004, Chicago Collections Consortium presents a discussion with Chicago artists Cranston Knight (photographer and poet), Carmen Perez-Stoppert (sculptor and jewelry maker), and Ken Reif (painter) about their experiences with Chicago art fairs and festivals. Learn about the impact Chicago’s art fairs have had on these artists’ careers and the important role art fairs and festivals continue to play in the city’s diverse communities and neighborhoods.
