Christina Ramberg was a beloved and central figure in the history of contemporary art in Chicago. Her work was fueled by a diverse array of source material, including a variety of works in the collection of the Art Institute. Christina Ramberg: A Retrospective showcases not only much of her body of finished work, but many objects, like sketchbooks, 35mm slides, and dolls, that give us insight into her process and inspiration.

Join Molly Bryson, exhibition interpretation specialist, and Kristen French, assistant director of gallery activation, for an in-depth exploration of this major exhibition and works across the museum that influenced the influential Chicago artist.

Meet in Griffin Court. No registration required. Free with museum admission.
