The Block Museum’s Woven Being Community Room is a dedicated space for conversation, reflection, laughter, and relaxation within the exhibition, Woven Being: Art for Zhegagoynak/Chicagoland. It’s open during regular museum hours, and while it is designed to center the Indigenous community, it is open to all.
On the first Wednesday evening of each month, stop by for informal conversation and activities related to the themes of the exhibition. Drop-ins are welcome and encouraged.
On March 5, the museum hosts a community game night. Drop by for Indigenous-made card and board games (as well as some classics). Come learn a new game or bring some friends to play an old favorite in a new place.
Learn more about February’s drop-in activities, here.
No RSVP necessary.
